WEP security is not working on my Remote Rig 1258 units. I worked with Steve at HRO and we discovered the following:
The unit is working fine using WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK. It is the latest hardware revision and running Ver: 2.87 microcode. It is failing using WEP (either 64 or 128 bit).
The AP models tested were as follows:
Westel, Model: A90-327W-15-06
Rev: E, Serial Number: 04Z410240698
Hiro, Model: H50212
Serial Number: 1315000198
Hiro, Model Number: H50188
Serial Number: 1217004209
TP-LINK Model: WA5210G
S/N: Unkn
In all cases the unit failed when using WEP security. Both 64 bit and 128 bet were tried with a passkey of 12345 for the WEP-64 and 1a2b3c4d5e6f7 for the WEP-128.
Is there a fix for such?
