Hi Karin,
Actually, this question has come up quite a few times if you search the forum. A couple of examples:
http://www.remoterig.com/forum/index.php?topic=1119.msg4654#msg4654http://www.remoterig.com/forum/index.php?topic=897.msg3611#msg3611etc.
Basically, it depends upon how you configure the system. If you use the lowest CODEC, it should
run you in the 60MB+ per hour. range
However, keep in mind that a RemoteRig system will
not work with the radio side using a
standard 4G connection. This is because the standard consumer 4G providers do not use a true
external IP number, but use internal IP numbers that can't be routed over the internet (double NAT).
The only ways around this is to either pay extra for a true external IP number (usually business
contracts), or else setup a VPN. You will also find threads on this subject if you search the forum.
Good luck and let us know if you have any further questions.
