Two boxes in the same location. Problem!!!!!!!
« on: 2021-12-06, 18:37:35 »
I recently purchased a second box for my D700 VHF / UHFTM Kit. and I had another box for my TS 480.
I set up my old box for the TM D700 and the one I just bought for the TS 480. For what it's worth, one is from the 10,000 series and the other is 12,000. Well, I put my old box for the TM D700 and the other for the TS480.
Initially it started to work, but after a while, very strange things happen.
1) on the TM D700 box you can also hear the audio from the other box.
2) it becomes unconfigured from time to time with the lights on the front of the box flashing and then it appears non-removable.
3) turns off many times.

I have checked the jumper cables several times, I have reset and reconfigured, I have checked the Jmp. And they are fine.
When it is blocked I remove and put the AUX / MIC connector and hook it, even if it has lost the configuration.

greetings to all

Charlie

Hi

It sounds like you are not using separate ports for the different systems. all 3 ports SIP, RTP,CMD must have different portnumbers in the two setups if you go trough a NAT router
