Hi

Yes you must activate VOX or SEMI BREAK IN and Sidetone in the Radio.

I use TS-480 my self and it works

Hey Mike

I have done what you mentioned but still NIL cw here using the PC Micro client.
I Tested CW using my "ordenary" RRC and all worked fine. TS480 is set to bug Key, Vox, and even today i enabled TX audio sidetone all is working fine.
Just wonder, when i using PC Client if HRD disable Vox or something ? Not sure here what the problem is.

I have 3 screen shot added here of the TS480 Extended Menu using HRD you can see if there is anything that
is different than on your TS480 setup.

Hi

"Bug key" should be off, and the key line should be connected to the straight key input, sidetone should be activated and VOX should be activated

Hey Mike

Bug key" should be off, (IS OFF) and the key line should be connected to the straight key input, (That is how it always have been connected) sidetone should be activated, ( IS set to 5 and i can listen to the side tone when i using my ordenary setup) and VOX should be activated (Is activated)

When you say straight Key input that is how it has been for yers and working fine using my "ordenary" RRC and TS480 display. As i am typing this measage i tested again using the settings abow and all is working fine in my "ordenary" setup.

I can NOT here the sidetone when i using the PC Micro Client setup when i try to send CW (Vox Not activated ???) Using HRD version 5 build 2816 Beta. Is there a VOX "On/OFF" buton in your HRD Version ? anyway i cant find anything here that can turn VOX on or OFF but when i turn on "ordenary" sytem using RRC and TS480 Dispaly it says it is turned ON.
