bootloader update
« on: 2013-09-17, 11:51:00 »
hello all

How I can update the bootloader to 1.10?

Currently I have a RRC1258 with this version 1.10, but the other will not let me change from 1.9.

thanks
Sorry my English from google ...

There is no need for booloader change, the bootloader is connected to the hardware version and there has not been any need for change so far.

Ok thanks.

The problem I have is this.

RADIO RRC1258 Unit firmware version 2.72 bootloader 1.09

CONTROL 1258 RRC unit firmware version 2.72 bootloader 1.10

controlling a ICOM 2820

Does not work

I have to put RRC1258 RADIO drive firmware version 2.62 bootloader 1.09 to work.
The same in both settings.

Do not you understand that can happen?

Thanks and excuse my English google.

Do you have  the special adaptercard for IC-2820 which needed for the mic to work,
http://shop.microbit.se/webshop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=65

It's not easy to help if you don't say what your problem is ?

You can also try to ask in spannish here on the forum, there are lot of spannish speaking customers.

Gracias Mike

A ver si tengo suerte y alguien me responde.

Mike, Juanma means:

He wanna control a Icom  2820.
At Radio RRC  runs the firmware 2.72 and the bootloader 1.09.
At Control RRC runs the firmware version 2.72 and the bootloader 1.10

With these configuration it doesnt work !!!

He thinks that if he changes the bootloader to the same version should work, isnt it?

The same version should be on both RRC tu run properly.

How can he change the bootloader version?

Thanks

The bootloader has nothing to do with the function when the unit has booted up. We have so far never sent out a new bootloader so the problem he has is depending on something else. Probably cabling or setup.

Thanks for your answer.
