PC Client with Yaesu Twin
« on: 2011-08-22, 21:54:43 »
After using my PC Client for several months with my TS-480 setup, I tried to use it with my
new Yaesu Twin setup with 2x FT-2000.

The PC Client connects as it should and appears ok, but I can not get the CAT to connect
at all. I have tried with both HRD and TRX-Manager.

I turned my webcam on the FT-2000 in the remote station and can see that the FT-2000 does
not turn on when the PC Client connects to it, as the TS-480 does. I can't turn the FT-2000 on
via software, since the CAT doesn't connect.

Since PC Client support will be critical to a new installation of Yaesu Twin I am doing next month, I
need to figure out what the problem is pretty soon.

Thanks & 73,

Hi

Have you changed to COM0 for the CAT connection in the RRC-client ? As far as I rembember com0 should be used for Yaesu twin as the Radio-RRC is set so Com2 is in parallell with com0, the commands is then going via com0

Hi Mike,

I tried all three: COM0, COM1 and COM2. I have COM1 set to mode 7, since I have CAT
locally as well as remote.
