Need help for Rotator control
« on: 2012-11-27, 20:05:49 »
Hi there,

I just installed the RS-232 cable for rotator control into my Webswitch 1216H (Firmware version 2.10). I want to control a rotator using DCU-1 protocol.. Now I want to setup and use the rotator but it's not showing up on the web interface.. Looking at the manual there should be "Rotator" in the bar on the left below "Temperature" but "Temperature" is the last item..

How do I enable the rotator control (via RS-232)?? In the PDF manual for the RC1216H (which should be the same) it is written that you activate the rotator in the "Advanced settings" using "Function type" - but there is no function type for rotators and the page looks completely different than in the manual..

What do I miss??

Thanks for any help!

You have to enable "Enable HAM radio functions" in the "Advanced settings" menu  ;)
Always include type of hard/software and version when asking for support.

It was even easier: clearing the cache in the webbrowser...  ;)

But before that you had enabled "Ham radio functions"  ;)
