Greetings to the group. I am using an RRC k3 twin with RTTY keying via the connected usb per the setup instruction manual. for the most part it works great. (using MMTTY engine) I was experimenting calling cq during a recent rtty contest. on several instances, the sidetone or "diddles" seemed to go quiet during the tx, and then the radio appeared to be stuck in a tx mode.. but silent as far as any "diddles or response side tones". one time it recovered, another time i needed to restart the radio remotely. any thoughts on what the cause could be? running the latest firmware on both the control and radio side. It almost seemed like the RRC was kind of locked up. any help from anyone out there would be greatly appreciated.
