AS-1289 RF issues
« on: 2015-06-18, 12:28:56 »
Hello,

I would like to consider an AS-1289 antenna switch for my remote location.
I've read a couple of month ago on this forum about a RF issue with this product and some manual intervention to correct it.
Is this issue corrected at the factory on the current AS-1289 products ?

I would also like to know if there is a power supply included when you buy the antenna switch or this should be ordered separately.
(Is this ok to connect the antenna switch to the shack power supply (13.8V) ?)

From the product picture I cannot see a point where you can connect the box to the ground, is there such a point ?

Thank you

Hi

the problems with the first AS-1289 is solved in production since long time and there has not been any complains after that

You can use the same 13.8V PS as you have to the radio, a power cable is included.

There is no separate GND connection
