Reset Login on RRC-1258

Can anyone tell me how to reset the login name and password for the RRC-1258?

I tried a reset and also re-loaded the firmware but the request for a password still comes up.

I can't find anything in the manual that removes the login and I can't get into the unit thru the USB port to reset it.

Hi

Like in most products of this kind you need to make a factory default reset.
press the reset button for 20-25 s. You will loose most of the settings.
There is a more complicated way. Connect a PC with hyperterminal set to 38400 baud, 8 bits 1 stopbit, no parity, No handshake to COM1. Enter "s" and "1" then you can step true the settings until the password shows. ( this does not work if you have activated COM1 for rotator or something else)

I guess I didn't hold down the reset long enough.  I did it for 30 sec this time and it worked.
