PC-Client and ARCP-480
« on: 2010-08-14, 10:22:28 »
Hello

Im trying to use the Kenwood ARCP-480 software wth the PC-CLient but no success.

It doesn't start.

Ham Radio de Luxe works ok, but I would prefer the ARCP480 because I think it givs you a better idea about the TRX status (PWR and SWR).

Probably it is because something related to the flow control or the way it handles the start sequence.

Any help?

Hi again,
I think you need to forward TCP port 50000 to the RRC at radio end

Hello

I'm still trying to make  Kenwood ARCP-480 software work with the PC-CLient through the remote com port emulation

HRD works ok, but no success with ARCP-480.

I like very much the way in wich you control the radio with ARCP-480.

I'm quite shure that it has something to do with the way it handles flow control or the connection command sequence and timming, but  I'm unable to find what happens.

Anyone has succeed?

Thanks

The PC-Client does not work with the ARCP-480, ARCP-480 handles the serial ports in a different way than HRD does
