The remote rig controller works just as claimed, it may take some time to work it all out but it is worth the effort. The networking issues can easily trap an unsuspecting player !!! The tuning using HRD is great! If you are using a 3G connection and the audio is breaking up, ckeck your signal level and get a good antenna, a good radio connection is critical.

I am using 2.26 with DynDns, IC7000, planning on solar power. The IC7000 is easily turned on and off using a relay and the Connect IO, turns the rig off if the connection is lost and on when you connect.

I am looking forward to many hours of fun using a remote site.

Im also a happy remote rig user, have a Yaesu FT-450 and my weekender remote location 120 kms west of Melbourne , using solar power, with 3G router for the link (shaped 64kbit Bigpond Liberty Wireless) , whole setup used aprox 20 amp hours per day, with few hours use each day 
The HF noise floor at the remote location is under S1, at my Home location its S9+
