I'm new to this form and I require some step by step instructions on how to setup my RRC-1258MkII with Ham Radio Deluxe and my Yaesu FT-450.
Am I to understand that I don't require HRD to run on a PC, connected to the FT-450, in the Shack, which is 45 miles away from my apartment, on HRD running on my PC here in my apartment?
How is this possible? In my previous setup, I required HRD at both ends. The client Running on my PC here in my apartment and HRD server running on a PC connected to the rig in my shack. All tips and tricks welcome and if someone has step by steps, please email me off form at

We can also take care of this over skype once my RRC-1258MkII arrives and I begin setting it up.
