Yaesu FT-7900 compatibility?

Hello,
I want to use remotely a Yaesu FT-7900.
I think is, more or less, exactly the same as FT-7800, but I did not read nothing about FT-7900, on the RRC-1258 MkII(s) user manual.
Could I use RRC-1258 MkII(s) to control a Yaesu FT-7900 without problem, with FT-7800 config?.

We have not tested, but as you say it looks like it's the same radio as the FT-7800 so it may work. If you test pse report back so we can tell others.

would you be willing to share your exported configuration files for control and radio?  i'm currently trying to get my FT-7900 setup to work and no luck yet.  I have read through the section in user manual and I think i did everything correctly
