Port Testing
« on: 2012-12-29, 12:41:11 »
Hi All

Here is a link to a very handy Web page that has some very good Port forwarding guides, examples and simple testers.

If like me, your not too familure with how to Port Forward then this is a good place to start for some info, I found it difficult to know if it was me, the RRC or my Router that was causing the problems, the forum and tools make it a lot easier, in the end ive found that it is the router that is at fault.

Great list, thanks for sharing.

The "port initiator" program looks like a winner.  I've been trying to get a Remoterig setup with the requisite DMZ or port-forwarding, but wasn't seeing the port open -- I forgot they have to be opened on one of the LAN computers, as well as opened on the firewall.

Port Triggering Initiator looks like a winner for testing the setup.
