Windows 8.1 x64 problems !

Problems with version 1.68 and 1.69 with Windows 8.1?

I use Windows 8.1 64-bit and have on multiple systems problems.
Can not start... No Com ports..etc.

The 1.67 version works  fine.

That's strange. The Comport drivers for 1.68-1.69 are exactly the same as in 1.67.
Have you tested a reboot?
Any one else having those problems?

Is it a WIFI or a LAN network interface?

I get a complete failure of 1.6.10 with both WiFi and Ethernet - it fails at the network selection stage on both my XP and Win7 laptops. The 'OK' key has no effect and only 'abort' works.

I have gone back to 1.6.6 which works fine.

IMHO release 1.6.10 sucks quite a lot...

Dear g5swx. Thanks for the info. We will do our best to un-suck it then 
The introduction of WIFI connections seems to have cause troubles for people.
We will of course have a look into this and see what can be done.
