no responce ETH0 - Remote RRC

Hello all

I  start a new project for IC706. Take my "old" black first version .

Radio RRC - running well no problem.
Remote RRC - didnīt give response on the ethernet interface.

Readout - IP Settings - all was
255.255.255.255
IP // Subnet MAsk / Gateway and DNS !!
HTTP Port was the old - 11080


Setup via USB - RRC Manger is running without a problem.
Get and set the IPs and HTTP Port.
DHCP or static IP didnīt give a responce.

A live recording (wireshark) of the Interface traffic - didnīt show me anything :-(
After unplug 12V and put it again inside - I didnīt see anythink on the LAN interface

The amber LED is on and green LED is blinking at the interface .

I checkt different Firmware Version , at last 2.75.

Is there a way to check that it is OK ?

No there is no better way to test it. Be sure that external 12V is applied, if it's powered from USB the ethernet interface is switched off.
If the Ethernet Interface is damaged which is what can happen if it's hit by lightning, the pcb is not repairable to a resonable cost. It has to be replaced.

If 12V isnt pluged in , I didnt get a responce on USB .

The unit wasnīt conenceted the last 6 Month .
It was not pluged to the network or power supply, it was save in an cabinet.

That is bad - never used, for what it was made :-( with a remote radio.

Ok the oldest version of the black boxes was not powered via USB. The boxes do not get broken by storing them, You  can always send it to us if you want us to check it up

Hello

The broken one has the Serial number: 4294967295 (1797)
The good one has teh serial number: 1776

Both are bougth at the same time (DF7KF)

Maybe the Conrtoller is a little scrubby

I will send the broken one to you.
