CW speed knob mod in V0.1

Hi.

I have RRC-1258 V1.0 and I've made CW mod for it, i.e., I installed the missing CW speed potentiometer into my control box. I followed the mod instruction given on remoterig web pages (http://www.remoterig.com/v1/en/cw_gen.htm). Knob has been installed but nothing happens, the CW-speed doesn't change thougt I rotate the knob. What's wrong? My firmware version is 2.80 and the controlled radio is IC-706 mk2g.

Ok, I should have used my second brain cell, too.
In control unit's keyer setting menu one should set parameter "Speed wpm [0/10-40]" to 0, this activates the newly installed cw potentiometer. Now, it works well.
