received CW very choppy
« on: 2016-01-21, 04:33:55 »
I got the control remote to power up the remote.

Now when I listening to CW it is so choppy it is hard to copy calls. I'm sure there are some settings but which one(s).

Hi
Increase "Key delay ms [0-250]" start with 50 and check if it's OK

It is already set to 50 ms. I assume you were talking about the setting in the keyer settings menu.  I made not have made myself clear. The problem is receiving the CW not in sending.

The RRC do not know if you are listen to CW or Phone, it just transfer the audio so it was tricky to guess you really mean receive.
To increase the tolerance against jitter when receiving, increase the jitter buffer size and jitterbuffer delay in the Control-RRC
Check the manual for details.

I think this is more of a connection problem. In the middle of today RX is very good. My problem yesterday was in the evening and probably lots of traffic.

Thanks for the answers to my concern.
