Remote internet supplier doing NAT problem
« on: 2016-02-10, 17:56:05 »
I found out that at my remote site that the internet supplier is doing NAT, the WAN ip address of my router is different than the public ip address.
So my setup is not working.
After speaking with their tech, there is no-way to get a fix ip address to solve the problem.
Can it be a way to get around that issue to get it working ?

I am using Ts-2000 and Rk-2000.

Bernard,

There are only three ways to solve that problem:

1) Pay extra for a true external IP address

2) Setup a VPN (like OpenVPN, etc.)

3) Change to a different provider
