Hi Gary,

Per my checklist, ONLY the control RRC needs to be changed on "Use USB Com Port as COM2" to YES.

Your screenshot either did not work, or else you don't have the drivers loaded. I have no idea where you
see COM18. I don't see it.

Hi Mitch

Going into the device manager, it is showing as > Ports (COM & LPT) > USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM11)

Tried com 11 in HRD at 4800. Looking at Select a Present or New definition and press 'Connect'

And tried all and would not worked for me. Also in Check PL-2303 chip version v 1002 in COM11 SHOWS (No PL2303 chip)
unlike other 14 showing ( COM PORT FAILED)

Will try and reinstall this again one more time like you posted in your checklist Mitch.   Showing picture from Device manageris set to COM18 there but is now COM11

Gary,

That is not a Microbit port. I do not understand what you are doing. Are you using a USB cable
between the RRC and PC, or are you using a USB to serial adapter cable? If not using the RRC's
native USB converter, you will need to set  "Use USB Com Port as COM2" to NO of course.

Hi Mitch,

Using USB to serial adapter cable from RRC Control to PC and COM2 back to NO  again did not work this side.

Will just give this a pas for the remote side here. Many thanks for helping me out to try Mitch.

Gary,

In therefore highly suggest that you go through the checklist once again and this time carefully read it.

- If you are using an adapter cable, then of course the Microbit drivers will never show up. That only works when you
use a standard USB cable like the one that came with the RRC.

- If you do use a converter cable, I highly recommend that you use one based upon the FTDI chip. Other ones
often don't work.

- You absolutely must use a standard serial cable on the radio side between the TS-480 and RRC COM2. A USB
to serial converter cable will not work.

Maybe this will help you find your problem.
