SteppIR option not shown?

I am trying to set up an RC1216H with a SteppIR SDA-100 controller.
The IP configuration is set up fine on the RC1216H; but, when I navigate to the Advanced Menu, the SteppIR isn't an option I can select...
The only choices are:
 Prosistel D
 Green Heron RT-21
 DCU-1
 Yaesu GS-32B
 AlfaSpid RAK

Further, the RC1216H indicates a software version of 4.50, which seems newer than the latest available to download, 4.27? This makes me hesitant to attempt to update the firmware.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated...

Install 4.27 there is a bug in 4.50 we have  later versions where it's fixed but it's not public yet
