Windows 7 Service Pack 1

It seems that Windows 7 service pack 1 can cause some troubles for the RRC-Client so we recommend that you DON'T INSTALL ServicePack 1 until further notice.

If you already has installed Windows 7 SP 1 and find that the program or settings take very long time to load
you man uninstall the service pack.
Uninstall SP1 using System Restore (Recommended)
Manually uninstall

Problems with the service pack can be found here

Some Microsoft updates recently since SP1 seem to solve the problems.
So if you have your system updated with the latest updates those problems are not an issue any more.

Roland,
If the delayed program start up does not concern us, are there any other problems with leaving SP1 installed on Win7?  My RRC Client has the delayed action but that would not bother me if I could get the audio stable.  I see the audio buffer bar moving to the right and then the audio stops until the bar restarts on the left.  The speed at which this happens depends on the jitter settings.  If I remove the RRC Client and simply use the 1258 MKIIS, the audio is perfect.
Thanks,

Yes. If thats no problem for you its Ok to keep SP1.
In fact there has been some updates since SP1 that seems to fix the problem.
So SP1 dont seem to be any issue now if you have you automatically updated turned on.
