flickers ic 706 mk2g

Hello,

with ic706 mk2g in 40 and 80 meters the display flickers and shows random characters.
in low power it does not happen

any help?

it's caused by RFI because of bad balance in the antennas  put chokes on the antenna feeders to prevent  RF to enter the schack

the situtaion must be really bad as the data signals are disturbed either on the ethernet cable or the separation cable

Mike is right.
My IC 7100 was doing the same until I put a choke on the CW line at the radio. I had everything else choke off except that line.
