Pairing RRC-1258 MKII

Hello there can anyone tell me is it possible to pair 2 RRC-1258 MKII control side tougher with radio side. I have pairs of RRC boxes the radio box is 5 miles from me.  The control is in my living room plus one in the bedroom.

Can you tell me if let a friend have the second box and his own Kenwood 480 would i be able to share the radio side at the same time when he is located over 400 miles from me and radio.

There is no pairing, you can use as many Control-RRCs and as many Radio-RRC you want. The only limitation is that only one Control-RRCs can be connected to a  Radio-RRC at the time but as soon as one user PWR off his TS-480 panel another can connect to the same radio by power on his panel
