IC-7100 JMP-2 conflicting information in manual
« on: 2021-03-23, 18:21:10 »
There are two statements in the manual that are in conflict. This is for the Control box.

Page 23 the manual says -- JMP-2 is used to select if the DC-power to the front panels should be 8 or 9 V. With the strap in place it will be 8V, which fits all ICOM radios.

On page 108 for the IC-7100 the jumper table shows a '0' (not installed) for this radio.

Which of these is correct?

Thanks and 73, Bill, KE5XV

Both is OK as the voltage is regulated inside anyway, but leave the jumper there to get 8V.

added:

I checked the manual and it says it should be there, it's on page 109 I guess you have a old manual
