Spare Rs-232 Functions ?
« on: 2009-10-14, 15:46:05 »
What is the baud rate range of the spare RS-232 port?

Full or half duplex?

A-sync or synchrous?

Standard 8 bit word or can I use a non-standard bit length (8, 9, 10, 11, 12 bits / word)?

Are there any other data ports available in the box(s) for us to use for other connections (of any type)?

Thanks,
John Long

Hi

The serial port is asynchronous full duplex 7 or 8 databits.

There are two I/O channels in both directions witch is normally used for CW-paddle from Control to Radio. No other. If more serial ports is needed there are a lot of Ethernet/serial converters availiable. We often use Tibbo.
