I am looking for help from anyone who has successfully managed to remotely read and program an IC-7100 via a pair of RR1258 devices.

I am pretty sure that I have the settings right but I am not able to do so using RT-Systems software or even manage the radio using Icom's RS-BA1 software. RS-BA1 connects, is very slow, but that's it. I was able to download once using RT-Systems but never after. However, I was never able to upload to the radio.

I am using a real Icom CT-17 CI-V interface between the radio (remote jack) and the Remote Rig (COM2 9600 8n1). The control panel works fine and I have been saving settings to the radio's SD-Card (just in case). But I can't download or upload using any software.

Brainstorming ...
- Can I set the baud rate higher in the RR and the IC-7100?
- If so, will the Icom CT-17 auto detect a higher baud rate?

Disappointing ... I have received no feedback for this message and others that I have posted regarding the IC-7100 and the Remote Rig interfaces. I can't believe that no one has configured a remote controlled IC-7100 using a pair of RRs and a CT-17 :'(
